Be-Free Program starts its first online symposium “Joy…for a balanced and peaceful family”

Bahrain Women Association- for Human development started its’ Initiative “Our Peace Begins From Our Home” with a symposium titled “Joy… for a balanced and peaceful family” presented by Manager of Be-Free Program, Dr. Rana Al Sairafi. The symposium discussed the meaning of Joy, and its impact on caregivers in particular and people in general, and its reflection on all family members. Joy is the backbone of any family, helping it to withstand the difficult circumstances and various events of life, and helping it to maintain peace between family members.

Five Parenting Skills that Affect Protecting Children from Abuses over the Internet

Be-Free program presented a training workshop “Five parenting skills that help in protecting children from Abuses over the Internet”, through Zoom platform on 2nd October 2020.
Dr. Suroor Qarooni; a trainer at Be-Free Program, certified coach and consultant for organizations and individuals, conducted the workshop with more than 50 participants from the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Cyberbullying, What shall I do?

“Cyberbullying, my son is a bully\victim of bullying, what shall I do?” was the title of the seminar of Be-Free program via Zoom platform on 27th October 2020. The seminar was introduced by Dr. Soroor Qarooni, a trainer at Be-Free Program, and certified coach and consultant for organizations and individuals. Dr. Qarooni clarified how cyberbullying differs from normal bullying in real life, and how bullying affects children and teenagers in both ways.

"YES, Set Smart Rules with Your Children" New Booklet from “Be Free” Program

“Be-Free" program of Bahrain Women Association - for Human Development issued a booklet titled “Yes, Set Smart Rules with Your Children". The booklet provides parents with a set of concepts that help in setting rules in the family, such rules will encourage children’s commitment. It also addresses the importance of rules in teaching children proper behaviors, protect them from trying to copycat behaviors of others, and agreeing with them on the right limits.

A New Perspective on Talent Introduced by “Be Free” Program

Be-Free program, part of the Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development, introduced a new perspective for talent and presented it in a seminar titled “Talent.. A Special Seed”. In which it defined talent as a latent feature within every person, able to grow and prosper whenever we took care of it and developed it. This feature is not restricted in academics or the arts, rather is has many, broad and varied fields, for instance, a sense of humor, critical thinking, financial planning, and many more.

Perspectives that Create Human Identity for People with Disabilities

“Be Free” Program, of Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development, organized an interactive symposium to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The symposium titled “Perspectives that Creates Human Identity for Persons with Disabilities”, aims at establishing a positive awareness towards People with Disabilities instead of a negative culture.
