The official visit of Princess Ann - the daughter of Elizabeth; Queen of England - to the Be-Free Center accompanied by the British ambassador in Bahrain. The princess met with a number of parents, Be-Free friends and attended part of a workshop titled “I am a Strong, Smart and Safe Child”.
The introduction of Be-Free’s Newsletter:
The introduction of a periodical newsletter to enhance Be-Free’s communication with various groups in the society. The published newsletters outline Be-Free’s activities, events, recommendations and of interviews done with children.
Solidarity campaigns administered by the Be-Free program:
The Be-Free program conducted several solidarity campaigns to draw public attention and sympathy towards issues related to child protection and safety worldwide. The program organized wide spanning solidarity campaigns during the siege on Gaza and the war on Lebanon that covered shopping malls and universities in Bahrain. A large number of the general population, university students, children and parents of different nationalities participated in the campaigns.
